Answers, troubleshooting, and the best ways to find what you want faster.
This page covers common questions about finding games, backup versions, broken pages, mobile support, Slope help, suggestions, and how the broader StaticQuasar931 site works.
Quick help
Need help fast? Use the main support routes below before assuming a page is fully broken.
Before you report a game
Refresh the page, click inside the game to refocus it, try another version if one exists, and check the Games by Genre page or site search first.
Finding Games
The best answers for search, browsing, confusing results, and getting to the right version faster.
What is the best way to find games on StaticQuasar931? +
The best way to find games is to use the search button in the top right on Google Sites if you know the game name, or use Games by Genre if you only know the genre, what the game looks like, or you just want to browse.
The genre page is usually the best option if you are exploring in general instead of looking for one exact title.
Why does search sometimes show the wrong page first? +
Google Sites has a built-in search system, and it is not very good. I cannot fully control how it sorts results, so sometimes backup pages, older pages, or similar-looking pages appear before the main one.
When you hover a result, look at the link shown in the bottom left of your browser before clicking. That helps you make sure you are opening the page you actually want.
If a search result looks wrong, try using only part of the game name, changing spacing, or using the Games by Genre page instead.
Why do some games have unusual names or changed spellings? +
Some names are adjusted for compatibility or practical reasons. If a game name looks slightly different but the gameplay seems familiar, it is often just a renamed version of the same game.
Examples include things like “Block Blast” becoming “Blooka Blasta” or “Slope” being written as sl0pe.
Versions, Backups, and Labels
Why versions exist, what labels mean, and why older pages sometimes stay available.
Why do some games have names like old, backup, GH, T1, A1, or attempt 1? +
Those labels usually mean there are different versions of the same game. Different versions can have different support, different hosting setups, different quality levels, or different compatibility results.
If a page says “old,” it may still exist so people who played the original can keep their progress or use the earlier version they are familiar with. The site evolves over time, but older versions are sometimes kept for the best chance of success.
Sometimes a version is also a simpler or lower-quality version of the normal game, but it still exists as a fallback.
What does GH mean? +
GH usually means the page or version uses GitHub-based hosting. If GitHub is blocked or limited where you are, that version may not work even if another version does.
Why do newer games or newer versions usually work better? +
Newer games or newer versions often work better because they use newer hosting approaches, better quality control, and more recent fixes. Older versions still exist for compatibility and progress reasons, but they are not always the highest priority to improve first.
Troubleshooting
Quick fixes for broken pages, controls, mobile issues, and games that do not load well the first time.
What should I do if a game feels broken? +
Refresh the page first. If that does not help, click inside the game once to refocus it, then try another version if one exists. If it still does not work, report it through the Google Form.
Why are controls not working? +
Sometimes a game needs focus before keyboard controls work, so click inside the game once and try again.
If the game is an emulator, controls may be shown in the bottom left and can sometimes feel a little funky depending on the version.
Can games be played on mobile? +
Some games can be played on mobile, but most games are mainly meant for desktop, Chromebook, or keyboard-based play.
If controls do not work correctly on a phone or tablet, the game may simply not support touch input well.
What if a game runs slowly or does not load well the first time? +
Refresh the page, try again later, or test another version. Some heavier games do not load well the first time or may behave differently depending on device, browser, or timing.
Is there a quick pause trick for games without a pause button? +
Some games can pause if you click near the top middle of the screen, but that depends on the game. If a game has its own built-in pause controls, those are usually the better option.
Slope Help
The main Slope version is the best place to start, but backups still exist in case you need them.
Why are there multiple Slope versions? +
There are multiple Slope versions because different builds behave differently depending on browser, device, and page setup. The main version is the most stable and most likely to work, while older or alternate versions exist as fallbacks.
What should I do if Slope does not load correctly? +
Refresh first. If that does not work, try the older version next. The old public internet workaround has been retired from this FAQ because the stable version should be the better place to start.
Site Content and Requests
What Static Games means, what kinds of requests make sense, and why pages sometimes change or disappear.
What does “Static Games” mean? +
Static Games usually means I made it or it was mainly or mostly made by me in some form.
Most of the older Static Games are rougher or lower quality. The newer ones are better. In general, I suggest normal public games first, but Where’s Epstein? is one of the more fun standout creator projects.
Can any game be added? +
Suggestions are welcome, but not every request can be added. Specific requests are much better than vague ones.
Instead of saying “add Roblox,” say a specific Roblox game. Specific game titles are much easier to evaluate and much more likely to be useful.
Why do some games get removed? +
Some games get removed or changed because the links change, the setup breaks, the game was added wrong, or the version needs to be replaced with something better.
Support, Credits, and Updates
Where to report issues, suggest games, find credits, and understand how active the site still is.
What should I do if a game is broken or wrong? +
Use the Google Form or the Contact page to report it. Broken links, wrong titles, duplicate pages, incorrect versions, or bad loading behavior are all useful things to report.
How do I suggest a game? +
Use the Google Form and be specific. Exact titles are much better than broad requests like “add everything.”
What is the fastest way to contact StaticQuasar931? +
The fastest order is usually:
Socials are better for following the project than for direct support.
Where are credits listed? +
Credits are listed on the full Credits page.
Is StaticQuasar931 still being updated? +
Yes. Just because one specific page is outdated does not mean the whole site is outdated. The broader project still changes through fixes, new games, new versions, cleanup work, and structure updates.
Where should I start if I am new? +
Start with the Games by Genre page if you want to browse, or the Main Games Page if you already know what you want.
If you want support, use this FAQ, the Contact page, the Google Form, or Discord.
